Yohei Yamada (ヨウヘイ 山田, Yamada Yohei) is Chi's human brother. He is voiced by Etsuko Kozakura in the animated show.
His age is never specified but he is a young boy. He seems to be older in the 2016 anime than in the earlier one.
Yohei is the one who found Chi when he fell over at the park. Yohei is small, cheerful, kind and obedient. He is also very fond of toy trains.

- His hair in Sweet Home was originally red-orange, but later turned golden-brown.
- In the Sweet Home anime he appears to be very young, possibly around 6 years old but in the Sweet Adventure anime he seems a lot more mature, maybe about 10.
